Corporate logos: We see them every day. We have lived with them for so long that they are embedded into our collective subconscious; a part of the human experience.
Six of the world’s best-known corporate logos - M cDonald’s, M arlboro, M ickey Mouse, N ike, C oca-Cola, and A pple - are employed in these paintings as they merge into ever-evolving forms and configurations, from undecipherable abstract to blatantly recognizable, inviting us to look at them in a new way.

The MMMNC series of paintings features agglomerations or sections of corporate symbols (McDonald’s, Marlboro, Mickey Mouse, Nike, and Coca-Cola), which are used metaphorically and appear in new combinations and constellations. They are transformed into landscapes, orbit as planets and UFOs, or try to usurp one another in pseudo-ornamental friezes, demonstrating the agility with which they can create new contexts and realities.

"Horror vacui" - Nature abhors a vacuum. We human beings love to fill our mental space, and religion, advertising, and politics are more than willing to step in.
